Leger School offers Skills Training and Employment Preparation (STEP) in
communities throughout the Upper Canada District School Board, outside of the
regular credit programming required to obtain an Ontario Secondary School
Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC). Essential skills
training to improve employ-ability skills is offered to individuals 19 years or
older through TR Leger School non-credit programming. You may have parents,
community members, colleagues, friends or family members who would benefit from
this free training.
TR
Leger offers digital technology training to keep up with today’s workplace such
as: using email, finding and researching information online, creating documents
and spreadsheets, preparing for employment, further education or
independence. TR Leger also offers non-credit work skills training in a
variety career specific fields such as clerical, cleaner, food counter
attendant, retail sales, landscaping and grounds keeping to name a few.
