Students can set goals and work towards improving their skills in the following areas: 

Employment Ontario

Apprenticeship

  • receive support to explore Apprenticeship opportunities
  • build skills to enter Apprenticeship program
  • apply to Apprenticeship program

Post-Secondary Preparation

  • build your academic skills to prepare for Post-Secondary study
  • research and select the right college or university program
  • learn how to apply to college or university
  • learn about distance education opportunities



Secondary School Credit

  • Strengthen the skills you need to complete your Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Using Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) you may be closer than you think to graduation


Employment

  • Build skills to apply for the job you want Using Prior Learning Assessment Recognition
  • Learn career specific skills that can be applied to a different job
  • Increase your skills to achieve a promotion in your present job


Independence

  • develop skills to help with your everyday literacy needs
  • learn to use a computer, fill in forms, read memos
