First Step: PLAR
|
PLAR: Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition Program
Adults with less than 26 credits are eligible to participate in the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition program (PLAR). Students complete a variety of subject tasks and document life experiences – all eligible for credits! Through this process, learners can earn up to 26 credits which means there are only 4 credits left to achieve a diploma! With PLAR, your diploma is within reach!

Second Step: Choice 3 Bundles
|
Compulsory Final Four Bundle
For Adults who are completing their final 4 credits, including compulsory credits. Students complete a streamlined series of lessons that lead to the final destination: an Ontario Secondary School Diploma!

Electives Bundle
For adults who are looking to build life experience and earn credits. Students will consider life and career next steps through a Challenge Card Activity and 10 lessons designed to identify and support personal interests and goals!
|
Portfolio Bundle
Designed for adults who just need a few final elective credits to complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Adults who have been busy with life, job, family, etc. can gain credits for life experience. Adults enrolled in this bundle will record their life experiences as a portfolio – for credit!

Upgrade Pathways
(For learners who already have their High School Diploma and want to upgrade for College or University)

College Upgrade
Learners who are upgrading for specific college programs. Choice of MBF3C, MAP4C, ENG4C, SBI3C, SCH4C

University Science/Math Upgrade
For learners who are upgrading for university science or math programs. Choice of ENG4U, MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U, SBI4U, SCH4U, SPH4U, SES4U

University Arts Upgrade
For learners who are upgrading for university arts or social sciences programs. Choice of ENG4U, EWC4U, HHS4U, HSB4U, HSC4M, CGW4U (*additional courses may be available)
